Stores and shops
Every city and village has its traders. Each deals in a few kinds of goods, restocks every 24 hours and keeps at least 50 items, at levels close to yours.
Shops with opening hours cannot be entered while closed. The entrance shows “Open between” and the shop’s actual opening and closing hours below its name; the hint updates as time passes.

Haggling
Prices depend on Charisma: yours against the trader’s (3). The table shows an item worth 32 coins, bought from a trader and sold to one.
| Your Charisma | You pay | You get |
|---|---|---|
| 3 | 32 | 16 |
| 4 | 31 | 17 |
| 5 | 29 | 19 |
| 6 | 28 | 20 |
| 7 | 27 | 21 |
| 8 | 26 | 22 |

Sell all unequipped
On the sell screen, choose “Sell all unequipped” or press the east face button (B / Circle). This sells every eligible copy across all inventory categories, regardless of the current filter. Equipment in either preset, quest items, worthless items and goods the trader does not buy stay with you. Each sold item pays its normal offer; this action does not steal extra coins.
For example, with the same sword and Charisma as the trader, selling 2 spare copies earns 32 coins while keeping 1 equipped copy and 1 quest copy.
Sell and Steal
With the Stealing proficiency you can lift extra coins while selling. The table shows the same item sold at the trader’s own Charisma. Items bought from a trader can only be sold normally.
| Your Stealing | Trader pays | You steal | You get |
|---|---|---|---|
| 0 | 16 | 0 | 16 |
| 1 | 16 | 3 | 19 |
| 2 | 16 | 6 | 22 |
| 3 | 16 | 10 | 26 |
| 4 | 16 | 13 | 29 |
| 5 | 16 | 16 | 32 |
| 6 | 16 | 19 | 35 |
| 7 | 16 | 22 | 38 |
| 8 | 16 | 26 | 42 |
| 9 | 16 | 29 | 45 |
| 10 | 16 | 32 | 48 |
The temple
Priests heal 2 health per coin (you need at least 100 coins to ask), cure each disease for 500 coins and lift curses from items. Each curse costs more the rarer the item:
| Item tier | Per curse |
|---|---|
| Common | 1000 |
| Uncommon | 2000 |
| Rare | 3000 |
| Elite | 4000 |
| Legendary | 5000 |
How it works
Buying and selling
A trader only buys the kinds of goods it sells. Quest items and worthless items can’t be sold.
Traders charge an item’s worth, 32% more for every point of Charisma they have over you, and 4% less for every point you have over them, but never less than 75% of it. They pay 50% of the worth, changed by 8% of that for every point of Charisma difference, between 10% and 70%. So buying something and selling it straight back always loses coins.
Sell all unequipped (east face button: B / Circle) sells all eligible inventory copies at normal prices, across every category. It keeps equipment in both presets, quest items, worthless goods and anything the trader does not buy.
A hero with the Stealing proficiency also gets Sell and Steal on the sell screen (north face button). It sells one item as usual and lifts another 20% of the trader’s offer for every point of Stealing. It never fails and has no cost, but it does not work on an item you bought from a trader.
Repairs
A blacksmith repairs a weapon or armor piece for its price × the share of condition it has lost.
